The features and service providers used by each Lumio app may differ. This policy describes the data practices that may apply when an app uses advertising, analytics, diagnostics, or support features. App-store disclosures and in-app privacy controls provide additional app-specific information.

1. Who we are and when this policy applies

Lumio Worldwide Limited (“Lumio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) develops mobile applications and games for users worldwide. This Privacy Policy applies to Lumio apps, games, our website, and communications with our support team.

Lumio Worldwide Limited is the company responsible for the processing described in this policy where applicable. Some third-party providers, including Google, process information under their own privacy terms.

2. Information that may be collected

Depending on the app, device, permissions, settings, and features you use, we or our service providers may process:

  • Device and app data: device type and model, operating system and version, app name and version, language, time zone, network type, screen information, and general device settings.
  • Identifiers: app-instance or installation identifiers and advertising identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, when available and permitted.
  • Network and approximate location data: IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address. We do not request precise GPS location for advertising unless an app clearly asks for permission and provides any legally required notice or consent.
  • App activity and advertising data: app launches, sessions, screens or features used, ad impressions, clicks, views, conversions, and interactions with advertising.
  • Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, error reports, timestamps, and technical information used to diagnose problems.
  • Consent and privacy signals: consent choices, age-related treatment signals, regional privacy selections, and whether personalized or non-personalized ads may be requested.
  • Information you provide: your name, email address, support messages, and attachments or technical details you choose to send us.

We do not require you to provide sensitive personal information through our support service. Please avoid including passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive information in a support message.

3. Google AdMob and advertising

Some Lumio apps use Google AdMob to display and measure advertisements. When AdMob is active, Google and participating advertising partners may collect or receive identifiers, IP address, device and app information, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and consent signals. This information may be used to deliver ads, limit ad frequency, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where allowed, personalize advertising.

Depending on your location and choices, an app may request personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or ads used only for technical delivery. Where required in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent mechanism to request and communicate applicable advertising choices before requesting ads.

Google explains its practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, the Google Privacy Policy, and its Advertising technologies information.

Some apps may use mediation or other advertising partners through AdMob. The consent message available in the app may identify active advertising partners and link to their privacy information.

4. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • provide, maintain, personalize, and improve our apps and games;
  • display, select, limit, and measure advertisements;
  • understand product performance and general usage trends;
  • detect crashes, fix technical problems, and improve stability;
  • protect users, prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • respond to support requests and communicate about your enquiry;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where applicable, our legal basis may include your consent, performance of a contract with you, compliance with law, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our services. You may withdraw consent at any time through available in-app privacy controls or by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

5. When information may be shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate our apps, including advertising, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, security, and customer-support providers. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process information as described above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our rights, during a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own unrelated purposes simply in exchange for money. Certain targeted advertising activities may be considered “sharing,” “sale,” or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws; applicable users may exercise the opt-out rights described below.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

You can control certain collection and advertising uses in several ways:

  • use an app's privacy options to review or change consent choices when available;
  • manage or reset the advertising identifier and ad-personalization choices in Android or iOS settings;
  • deny optional device permissions through system settings;
  • stop future app data collection by uninstalling the app;
  • contact us to make a privacy request.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may also have rights to know, delete, correct, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, where those concepts apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a request, email support@lumio.mobile with the subject “Privacy rights request.” Describe the app involved and your request. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and locate relevant data. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority.

7. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that violates applicable law. Apps directed to children, if any, are configured using age-appropriate measures and advertising treatment designed to support compliance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Google Play Families requirements, and other applicable child-protection rules. We do not use children's personal information for personalized or behavioral advertising.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Retention, security, and international transfers

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including support, security, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. Retention periods vary according to the type of information, the app, and the service provider. Third-party providers apply their own retention schedules.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards for international transfers.
